How Can severe Bumpy Rashes On The Shoulders Be Treated?

I have been taking Eliquis since September and have developed a terrible red bumpy rash across by sholders and down to my waist. on each side below the arm pits it is extreemly red and itchy. Could this be Eliquis after taking it so long . I have eliminated all other things I can think of. Thanks Jo

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As a first line management, you can apply low potency steroid creams like Betamethasone for symptomatic relief. If the lesion persists, it is better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
